Nexium 24HR 20 mg enteric coated tablets for the lasting symptomatic relief of frequent heartburn, acid regurgitation and other symptoms associated with gastro-oesophageal reflux.
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the Consumer Medicine Information leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR. If symptoms persist or recur within 2 weeks of completing the course, consult your doctor. Further examination may be required.
Always read the label, use only as directed. All acid reflux symptoms occur at least every 2 to 3 days. Acid is a building blocks for the stomach lining.
If you have heartburn for 14 days or more, you may need to take Nexium 24HR for 14 days.
If you have acid reflux for 14 days or more, you may need to take Nexium 24HR for 14 days.
You should continue to take Nexium 24HR for 14 days if your doctor tells you to, or if it causes frequent heartburn:
• Have ever had an allergic reaction to esomeprazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• Have ever had an ulcer or bleeding disorder
• Have ever had a severe reaction to Nexium 24HR or any other proton pump inhibitor (PPI).

Nexium control gastro-resistant tablets contain esomeprazole; Always read the label. If you get heartburn more than once a week, Nexium control can give you up to 24 hours of protection. If you have heartburn, make sure to consult your doctor, especially if you have any allergies, stress, or heartburn-related conditions. Not all foods are put into use.
